Accessibility statement
This site is designed and tested against WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria as a working reference. This is a statement of practice, not a conformance certification, Accessibility Conformance Report, or VPAT.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with one main landmark, a skip link, labeled navigation, and a logical heading order on every page.
- Color contrast at or above 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and interface components, in both the light page areas and the navy bands.
- Keyboard operability for every control, with a visible focus indicator.
- Text alternatives for informative images and empty alternatives for decorative ones.
- Reduced-motion preferences respected. No autoplaying media.
- Automated accessibility checks run in the build pipeline on every page, alongside manual keyboard and screen-reader passes on representative pages.
Known limitations
The downloadable capability statement is a PDF produced outside this site. It has embedded fonts and selectable text; it has not been independently evaluated for PDF/UA. Ask for an accessible alternative if you need one.

For delivered work
The same working standard applies to websites and portals BCA delivers, with Section 508 requirements applied as the contract specifies. BCA supplies test evidence with each delivery and prepares Accessibility Conformance Reports on the basis of that evidence, stated accurately.
