Questions
What buyers usually need to establish first.
What accessibility standard does BCA target?
BCA scopes website remediation toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA unless another applicable standard or contract requirement is agreed. A target is not a conformance claim until the scoped evaluation and remediation evidence support it.
Does an automated scan prove a website is compliant?
No. Automated tools find only part of the problem and can misclassify context. BCA combines automated checks with manual keyboard, focus, zoom and reflow, structure, form, contrast, content, and assistive-technology-informed review.
Does BCA install accessibility overlay widgets?
No. BCA focuses on source-level design, content, and code remediation. A widget is not treated as a substitute for fixing the underlying experience.
Is this legal certification?
No. BCA provides technical assessment, remediation, and evidence. Legal conclusions and certification require the appropriate authorized counsel or assessor for the buyer's context.
